Exchange Policy

Best U Boutique offers ‘Returns and Exchanges’ and ‘Refunds’ according to and strictly limited to the following conditions.


The garment(s) does not fit and you would like a different size.

Garment(s) is damaged and you would like a replacement garment. 

Exchanges should be brought to our attention within 72 hours (3 days) of receiving your order. You should inspect the items on the day you receive them to be safe.

Items may be exchanged for alternative items either to the same value of the returned item or more, which will incur payment of the difference from the client.

If you wish to take time before choosing an alternative item, your credit to the value of the returned item can be redeemed within 1 year of Best U Boutique receiving the returned item. (This is NOT a refund)

Garment(s) must be returned to Best U Boutique free of odour or damage due to clients fault – perfume, smoke, cigarette burns, make-up and food stains.

Due to hygiene reasons, lingerie items are NON-EXCHANGEABLE and NON RETURNABLE, unless it is reported as damaged within 3 days of receiving your lingerie. Sale items may not be EXCHANGED REFUNDED OR RETURNED!

Simply sending items back to Best U Boutique without first logging a valid reason for your exchange within the terms of our conditions will not be accepted or validated.

Exchanges pertaining to sizing issues can only be conducted once per order. Clients are heavily advised to NEVER order bigger or smaller than their TRUE South African size as doing otherwise will result in incorrect sizing sent. IF SIZES ARE NOT STANDERD IT WILL BE STATED THAT WAY ON THE WEBSITE!

Costs of Returns and Exchanges

If Best U Boutique is responsible for sending damaged items or items in the incorrect size or style ordered by the client, pick up and return delivery costs are covered by Best U Boutique.

If the client orders the incorrect size, ie. Ordering bigger or smaller than their true South African size, return costs as well as the cost of sending the replacement must be covered by the client. 

To effect the exchange you will be issued a gift card to the value of the item you are exchanging/returning, and we will ask you to return to our website to create a new order using your gift card code. 


Refunds are only offered to clients who receive damaged items and report the damages within 72 hours (3 days) of receiving their garment(s).

Best U Boutique does not warehouse bulk stock, thus your items are ordered from our overseas supplier in response to your order. Due to customs and border control, imports can face inspection, delaying our delivery time of 12-17 working days. Best U Boutique is not responsible for this and is in no way responsible for refunds regarding late delivery.

If in the event that Best U Boutique is not able to provide the item ordered by the client as it is no longer available from the supplier, the client is entitled to select an alternative garment to the same value or request a refund for that garment.

Cancellation of an order that has been finalized, will incur a 35% handling fee - as stipulated in the Consumer Protection Act Doll Me Up Fashion reserves the right to do so. The Consumer Protection Act excludes “Buyers Remorse” and Best U Boutique Fashion reserves the right to reject refunds due to “Buyer’s Remorse” or “Change of Heart”.  Cancellations due to "Not realising our turn around time of 12-17 working days", is considered "Change of Heart" and will incur 35% handling fee for cancellation.

No Returns for Refunds are accepted on items bought on clearance.  We will offer in-store credit to the value of the item(s) bought in the form of a Best U Boutique Fashion Gift Voucher. 

Refunds will be processed within 15 days of cancellation notice or the return of ordered items  - as stipulated in the Consumer Protection Act.
